We are looking for an Account Manager & Support professional to become a key point of contact for our customers and partners. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day customer relationships, supporting onboarding and live deployments, and ensuring customers get maximum value from the cThings platform and associated solutions.

About cThings

cThings is a UK-based technology company delivering smart metering, IoT and cloud software solutions to customers across the energy, utilities and built-environment sectors. We work closely with councils, housing providers, developers and commercial operators to help them monitor, manage and monetise energy and utility data. As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for an Account Manager & Support professional to become a key point of contact for our customers and partners.

The Role

This is a customer-facing role combining account management with technical and operational support. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day customer relationships, supporting onboarding and live deployments, and ensuring customers get maximum value from the cThings platform and associated solutions. You’ll work closely with sales, engineering and operations, acting as the bridge between customer needs and internal delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers
  • Support customer onboarding, including platform setup and go-live activities
  • Handle day-to-day customer queries, support requests and issue resolution
  • Coordinate internally with engineering and operations to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain strong, proactive relationships with customers and partners
  • Support account growth through renewals, upsell opportunities and new use cases
  • Track and manage support tickets, actions and customer communications
  • Assist with documentation, training materials and customer guidance
  • Ensure customer records and activities are accurately maintained

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in account management, customer success or customer support
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers
  • Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working with software platforms and technical products
  • Experience in IoT, energy, utilities or SaaS is a plus (but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team
