cThings have been working with Integrated Environmental Solutions, a leader in using technology and analytics to optimise the design and operation of buildings.

IES have adopted the cThings Cloud IoT Platform to allow for the collection and aggregation of data from various sensors and meters. This has made it possible for them to construct a digital twin of their client’s properties, enabling them to use data to inform and enhance the operational performance of buildings.

cThings have helped to reliably collect the performance data from numerous devices, each employing different communication protocols and incorporating them into a single source of standardised data. This data is then delivered to the ISE platform in real-time using our webhook technology. In scenarios where historic data is required for more in-depth analytics, this is made possible using our simple to use API.

With the use of the cThings Cloud IoT Platform, the time required to start providing results to the customer has been shortened by months and costs reduced by thousands of pounds.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Sales Manager who has:

  • Experience in sales with the built environment, construction or energy sectors
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • A passion for sales with the ability to identify new markets and opportunities
  • The ability to think creatively to help design products and services
  • Excellent presentational skills with the ability to communicate using both spoken and written English
  • An interest in innovation and technology
  • The ability to work closely with all areas of the company, from product management through software development and hardware engineering – to make sure that our products are solving the right problems for our clients

What skills should you have?

We are looking for you to have the following core skills:

  • Experience of IoT sales
  • Familiar with using CRM suites
  • An understanding of the construction and energy industries
  • Ability to generate and nurture leads
